For our March meeting, Level 2 referee and Lancashire FA Referee Development Officer Dean Mohareb joins us to take us through a journey of match incidents from the past year.
Dean is known to most of us and never disappoints in his delivery. Aiming to bring key learning points from incidents to all levels of referees in the room, from grassroots to professional, we're sure it will be an enjoyable evening.
Dean's refereeing CV includes:
1997 - Qualified as a Class 3 (Level 8)
1999 - Promoted to Class 2 (Level 6)
2001 - Promoted to Level 4
2003 - Promoted to Level 3 from the Mid-Cheshire League
2006 - Promoted to Level 2 and National List Assistant – “Double Jump”
2007 - Referred the FA National Leagues System Cup Final
2008 - Selected to represent the PGMOL as a referee at The Dallas Cup
Off the field of play Dean has also undertaken the following work:
2007 - Appointed as Referee Development Officer for Lancashire FA
2008 - Invited to deliver a 5-day workshop for elite referees in Colombia with Ray Oliver and Chris Foy
2009 - Group Tutor on the FA International Instructors Course
